It all started a long time ago, when my grandfather was only 12 and left for Brazil alone by boat, with the mission of earning a living.
He worked hard and created a pastry business.
Years later he returned to Portugal and decided to invest and had the building built.
For years the floors were rented on a long term basis.
From my grandad it passed on to my father and later to me.
In 2014 when a floor vacated, I decided to try “the vacation rental” mode, as my dream when I was a little girl was working with turism.
Gradually more floors became vacant and I adapted them to short term rental. It was a pleasant surprise the pleasure it gave me to discover this activity.
Welcoming Guests is still the best part and making them feel welcome and comfortable is very rewarding.
Right now the whole building is dedicated to this activity that keeps me busy 7 days a week.
